In the Footsteps of Abbot Father Mkhitar

As part of the Social Studies Review, the launch of the project “In the Footsteps of Father Mkhitar” took place on March 6 in the hall of the National Library of Armenia.

Students of different ages from the educational complex, teachers, the founding director of the educational complex, representatives of the Mekhitarist Seminary, and employees of the National Library attended the presentation.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Balasan Harutyunyan, head of the Printing Museum, Ashot Bleyan, founding director of the educational complex, and Father Gevorg Sargsyan, inspector of the Mekhitarist Seminary.

Project groups from the 10th and 11th grades of the Research High School presented a map tracing the journey of Mekhitar Sebastatsi. Afterwards, a choir composed of students from the middle school and high school of the educational complex, under the direction of Luiza Keshishyan and Suzy Margaryan, performed hymns by Mekhitar of Sebastia.

The meeting concluded with a tour of the National Library, where works by Mkhitar Sebastatsi were displayed in the exhibition hall.
