Armenian-Iranian Cultural Days

Knarik Nersisyan, the Art School Principal of Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex, has written concise information about Armenian-Iranian Cultural Days.

The Armenian-Iranian Cultural Days aim to reveal and publicize the centuries-old ties, interactions, and commonalities between Armenian and Iranian cultures. Within the framework of the Cultural Days, the educational calendar of the EduComplex will include a series of events that will allow participants to recognize the rich cultural heritage of the two neighboring peoples: literature, music, dance, art, architecture, cuisine, etc. The project aims to promote cultural understanding, respect, and dialogue by valuing the uniqueness of each culture and revealing the interactions formed over the centuries, and to create partnerships for collaborative, educational, and multi-layered new projects.

Project goals:

·         .  Identify and present Armenian-Iranian cultural interactions in different periods of history

·         .  Promote dialogue and mutual understanding between the two cultures

·         .  Enable learners and the public to become acquainted with different layers of Iranian culture

·         .  Strengthen Armenian-Iranian cultural ties

·         .  Encourage creative collaboration between representatives of the two cultures
