I am here to tell you, that this week we have had a very interesting and informative meeting with Gregory V. Diehl.
Gregory V. Diehl is an American who has been living in Armenia for 4 years now. He is living in Kalavan village, Gegharkunik region. He has visited a lot of countries throughout his life and now his home is Kalavan, he has decided to stay in Armenia and he doesn't think about moving away from here at least now. You can read more about him from his blog, which I will leave in the comment section.
As I have mentioned, Gregory has visited a lot of countries, so he is an experrienced traveller. That is why the meeting was interesting especially for students from the tourism department (Mkhitar Sebastatsi college). During the meeting we had a tour around the college and my students told Gregory about all the projects and extracuricular activities, that we organize at Mkhitar Sebastatsi college. Then we went to Vernatun of the college and had a discussion about tourism, Armenia, his experience of living here and some funny situations connected with it. Also we talked a lot about Kalavan village and we are motivated to visit the village in the nearest future. Gregor is also a succesful entrepreneur, he shared with us several tips, which will be very useful for my students interested in tourism business.
In the end, Gregory kindly gave to our college books witten by him, again connected with tourism, Armenia and entrepreneurship.
Thank you, dear Gregory.
