Protocol

″The Sprout″ (this is the name given to the educational garden in the South-West district of Yerevan by Massimo Lippi) is a new area in Armenia which arises from its blood, its creative imagination. This delightful “Sprout” now expresses the shadowy and bright days of the school through the International Sculpture festival. The participating artists coming from Russia, France, China, Georgia, bring friendship and culture to this great festival. Their sculptures, created of Armenian stones, will make the educational environment and gardens of Yerevan more beautiful.

A new page has been written in history: “Art is a new sprout.”

Massimo Lippi, Italian sculptor and poet.

On July 18, after 14:00, the participants will announce the festival appeal.

The Festival Appeal (draft)
The participants of the Annual International festival of Sculpture, Architecture and Environment announce:

  • a "pure" cultural festival becomes educational in an educational environment, complements the educational content and the organization of education,
  • the role of sculpture and architecture is just changing the environment which is done effectively when the environment takes part in the process of creation,
  • Yerevan South-West Educational Garden as a real environment of the festival, makes the festival really participatory,
  • the environmental, ethnograghic content complements the festival aimed at changing the environment, connects it with the participants,
  • the connection and interaction of human and environment are always ongoing, therefore, their development is also ongoing as a creation,
  • this means that with such connections the festival can not end. It is continuous, ongoing all the year round as all year round as a human and environment interaction.
  • the participants continue to keep contact with each other, follow the development of their works and influences.
  • The festival in Yerevan, in this Educomplex is annual. During the festival gatherings the participants share their works and their influences with each other, involve new people.
  • Within the framework of the 2020 annual international festival of sculpture, architecture and environment, the participants will conquer a mountain pick together, and will look at Armenia from that pick as a festival environment.
