The Armenian Language and Today's Young Armenians

Turning over the pages of the history of Armenia I understood that our language and alphabet have had a long and difficult way. But due to young Armenians the Armenian language is divided into two parts: literary Armenian and jargon. Unfortunately very few people speak literary Armenian and jargon is spoken almost everywhere. There are numerous reasons for this. Here are some of them: 1) environment- howevar parents try to bring up their children in the right way they, their language can be affected easily as soon as they appear in an evironment where jargon is used. 2) Television- Jargon and bad language is used in most of the series of TV films. Thhe reasons are really numerous and we don't speak our pure language in our country and inthis way we don't preserve our national identity. Our sacred duty is to preserve our language and transfer it from generation to generation. As Hamo Sahyan said: " Our language is our conscience, holy bread on our table, call of our soul and fair taste in our mouths."
