Mr. Bleyan's speech at the closing ceremony of the SunChild International Festival

Through this partnership, our author pedagogy gains environmental experience and reliable high-flying partners

October 25, closing ceremony of the International Environmental Festival SunChild in the hall of the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia

On the eve of the 30th anniversary of ″Mkhitar Sebastatsi″ Educational Complex, in partnership with the SunChild Festival, together with the NGO ArAves of the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), confirm that the public awareness on the importance of conservation of Armenia’s exclusive natural heritage and biodiversity, environmental issues and nature protection is a real content of general education as announced by the Foundation.

This is an encouraging message from the well known Foundation ahead of the 10th anniversary of the SunChild Festival. Through this partnership, our author pedagogy gains environmental experience and reliable high-flying partners. On these days, our beloved “Bangladesh” of the Educomplex has become a platform for the SunChild festival with its Grapes and Wine School, hillside which is the citadel of our educational garden, Vighen Avetis Sculpture School with its ArtBoarder created in 2018, and the Sculpture Festival Alley…  On these days, we have blessed the new vineyard on our expanding educational farm. Hundreds of our Educomplex students watched environmental films as educational work, made a fancy dress parade using wastes, the lion clay sculpture was placed in our Zoo by the Educomplex as a symbol of stewardship, a workshop of clay sculptures was implemented, our ArtBoarder exhibited wild nature photos taken by the Educomplex students of different age groups. On these days we have started planting wild almond trees, oleaster trees, pear trees in the Educomplex Arates Schooling Center and Vayots Dzor Yeghegis Gorge. Let the wild beasts in the Yeghegis Gorge feel good… a peaceful year-round school in the nature…

A seminar on environmental fire prevention has been held today with the participation of the US Ambassador, Honorable Lynn Tracey, in the Mother School of the Educomplex. Yes, we must turn from passive observers of anthropogenic and congenital fires into SunChildren, and as an all year round school in nature, we will carry out our responsibility for green wild safe nature   not only as a living monument, but also as a safe environment for our life activities.

And on Monday, October 28, at 2:00 pm in the Marble Hall of the Educational Complex, we will ratify the partnership with the NGO ArAves of the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC). Welcome to the signing of the prospective memorandum.

What is right is right. Ruben Khachatryan, founder of the foundation is also able to involve interesting and promising young women figures in the field of wild nature and culture preservation.

Through our joint work, we knew Siranush Tumanyan, with whom we continue to work on numerous projects, and so our school leavers don't lose their contacts either.

And thanks to the SunChild Festival, we got acquainted with Sona Kalantaryan.

On this remarkable day, and in this solemn hall,  let our students deliver you the expression of our admiration.
